Commencement culminates academic journey

Commencement at Columbus State University is a celebration that recognizes the culmination of years of work by students and faculty. Held twice a year at the end of the fall and spring semesters, commencement is a time of pride for CSU's faculty and staff, as well as for students and their families.

CSU's fall 2009 graduation will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Columbus Civic Center, 400 Fourth St., near downtown. The spring 2010 graduation also will be held at the civic center, on the evening of Monday, May 10, 2010. These ceremonies have been moved to the civic center on weekdays to accommodate holidays, changes in our academic calendar and construction of the Student Recreation Center across from the Lumpkin Center.
